I was first licensed in 1959 as K5EYP in Houma, LA. I was active for about ten years as K5EYP and then the vagaries of life moved us all over the county. In 1988 I was re-licensed as N4TMJ while living in Marietta, Georgia.

A subsequent move to Shaker Heights, Ohio required that I change my call and I chose to upgrade to Advanced Class and was issued the call sign KE8YC. At the same time, I was spending a great deal of time in Japan and was granted a reciprocal license of 7J1ALA.

When the FCC opened the vanity call sign program, my petition for my old call was granted.

Subsequent moves to St. Charles County, MO and Perrysburg, OH followed and here we are.

And, there are several of us. My wife of over 35 years, Ann, is N8RBL.

I am fortunate to have two sons: Tim, KC8YWS, and Paul, his older brother, KG4RWS. Both live in the Toledo area and are fun to have close. A lovely, non-ham (yet) daughter, Julie, rounds out the crew and lives in Montpelier, VT.
